Fitness training that focuses on strength and conditioning of muscles plays a vital role in improving overall health, supporting weight loss, and enhancing bone health. By incorporating resistance exercises, such as weightlifting, bodyweight movements, or resistance band work, individuals can increase muscle mass, boost metabolism, and burn more calories, making weight management more efficient.

Strength training also improves bone density, crucial for preventing osteoporosis and fractures, especially in women as they age. Additionally, regular conditioning exercises enhance joint stability, reduce the risk of injury, and improve posture and functional movement.

Our trainer is inclusive and empathetic to each client's unique needs and challenges, making them an excellent resource in our comprehensive weight loss program, ensuring that fitness goals are met with care and understanding.

Meet Our Fitness Trainer

Anthony Collins

Hello! My name is Anthony and I’ve been working in the health and fitness industry for over 12 years. Fitness is truly a passion of mine and I do my best to let that show with every client I have the pleasure of working with. My goal is to not only help people achieve new and improved levels of physical health, but to also make working out something that can be anticipated rather than dreaded. I love proving that you can have fun while getting healthier at the same time. Through proper technique, habit building and of course a little effort, I believe that anyone can improve their health by simply taking it day by day. Seeing the excitement people have when they surprise themselves in the gym or reach one of their goals is exceptionally gratifying to me, and I look forward to achieving that feeling with all of you in the future!

Courtney Winters

I'm thrilled for this new opportunity to be a part of the GynoFitMD family. Exercise is my passion and lights a fire in me that benefits every aspect of my life. Let me be the spark to light that same fire in you!

My Background:

I have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from BYU and am a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). I have been teaching group exercise since 2007, with a specialty in strength training.

My mission for YOU:

To help you learn new exercises with proper form, set realistic goals, and provide safe strategies to help you accomplish them.

To increase your strength, flexibility, balance, posture, coordination and confidence; leaving each workout feeling strong and empowered.

As your Personal Trainer I can help hold you accountable and be a cheerleader as you enter into this new chapter of life where you are making your health a priority.

Outside of life at the gym, I love to sing and am a part of a choir in Arizona called Millennial Choirs and Orchestras. I love to travel the world with my husband, check out new restaurants, snuggle with my puppy dogs, and most of all, spend time with my kids. We love boating at the lake, going to sporting events, and playing games together. Let's do this!
